Creosote buildup from frequent wood burning
Why it happens here
Many Strathmore Park homes rely on wood heat in winter. The cool, damp air can cause creosote to condense and accumulate quickly. If not removed, it can ignite and cause a chimney fire.
Our approach
We use a Sooteater rotary system and traditional brushes to remove all creosote. We also educate homeowners on burning seasoned wood and maintaining proper airflow to reduce future buildup.
